Cadets stepped into the role of investigators during last week’s hands-on science lab, working with replica bones to explore the human skeletal system in a new way. By closely examining skulls and other bones, they analyzed features that can reveal age, physical traits, and even signs of injury.

The lab also went beyond human anatomy, allowing cadets to study how bone structure supports movement and function across different species, including birds and their ability to fly and hunt.

Our Student Council led instruction at the different exhibits, giving them the opportunity to practice leadership and presentation skills.

Experiences like this bring STEM concepts off the page and into real-world applications, encouraging students' curiosity and critical thinking.
