Today, Thunderbird competed with other regional high school JROTC programs at the at Joplin High School Drill Competition. Team events included: unarmed new cadet regulation (females), unarmed new cadet regulation (males), color guard, and unarmed exhibition.
Our cadets showed out, with our girls winning new cadet regulation and new cadet exhibition. Additionally, Thunderbird tied for 3rd Place Overall and WON the tiebreaker; Cadet Parker beat the competing school’s team representative for most push-ups in a minute! The room erupted as our cadets won the trophy.
