55 Class President Election

55 Class President

September 17, 2020/News

Cadets at the Thunderbird Challenge program have the chance to elect their class president each cycle. The TCP Class President has the responsibility of representing the company with the goal of making the class more productive and enriching for all cadets. The Class President will serve as the vital communication link between cadets and company staff/leadership by making suggestions to leadership and creating a plan for improvements. The Class President will also prepare and present a speech at the graduation ceremony for all parents, families, mentors, staff, and cadets attending.

Class 55 had four candidates, one from each platoon, campaigning for Class President. With the entire company in attendance, each candidate gave a presentation outlining their individual plans that they would implement if elected. The candidates did an excellent job presenting their speeches and effectively conveying their plans. Those candidates are:

Cadet Dru- 1st Platoon

Cadet Reeves – 2nd Platoon

Cadet Flores – 3rd Platoon

Cadet Prince – 4th Platoon

Class president is a great responsibility and the elected cadet will have to maintain good standings, participate in the student council meetings, and report issues presented by the council to program staff. He/she will also have to show improvements in academics and physical fitness.

Cadet Prince was elected Class 55 President and is very excited and eager to work for his classmate cadets.
